1. Eligibility

To use Storygeny, you must:

• Be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country to consent to data collection).
• Have the legal authority to accept these Terms.
• Not be prohibited by law from using our Service.

2. Your Account

You create a Storygeny account using your phone number, which we verify via SMS. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and up-to-date information.
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account.
• Be responsible for all activity through your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable laws.

3. Connecting with Others

We use your phone contacts to:

• Suggest friends already on Storygeny.
• Enable "relay" participation and visibility with your network.

You must grant access to contacts for this function to work, and you can revoke it at any time via your device settings.

4. Content & Usage

a. Cards & Relays

Posts on Storygeny are called Cards, which you contribute to Relays (group threads). You are solely responsible for the content you create.

You agree not to post:

• Hate speech, harassment, threats, or violence
• Nudity, pornography, or sexually explicit content
• False information or impersonations
• Copyright-infringing or illegal material

We may remove or restrict access to any Card or Relay that violates these Terms.

b. Rights You Grant Us

By posting content, you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, display, and distribute your Cards within Storygeny for the purpose of providing the Service. You retain all ownership of your content.

5. AI Features

Storygeny offers optional AI assistance to help you:

• Generate captions
• Suggest content ideas
• Enhance storytelling

All AI suggestions are optional, and you remain responsible for the content you publish.

6. Intellectual Property

All content provided by Storygeny (excluding user Cards), including logos, design, software, and branding, is owned by Bouesse Technologies or its licensors and protected by law. You may not copy, modify, or use our assets without permission.

7. Privacy

Our use of your data is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using Storygeny, you consent to our data collection, including access to phone contacts, usage data, and media uploads. We do not sell your personal information.

8. Termination

We may suspend or delete your account if:

• You violate these Terms or laws.
• You engage in abusive or fraudulent behavior.
• We are legally required to do so.

You may delete your account at any time in the app or by contacting us at info@storygeny.com.

9. Limitations of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Storygeny is provided “as is” and “as available.”
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data, content, or reputation.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

10. Modifications

We may update these Terms. We will notify you of material changes via the app or by email. Continued use of Storygeny after changes means you accept the revised Terms.

11. Disputes & Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Swiss law. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Switzerland, unless otherwise required by applicable local law.

14. Zero-Tolerance Policy

Storygeny enforces a strict zero-tolerance policy toward objectionable content and abusive users. If we detect or receive reports of such behavior, we may remove content, restrict functionality, or terminate user accounts without notice.
